Henry & Simon is a long-form podcast about independents, creatives and entrepreneurs — recorded around the kitchen tables, teahouses and Letná flats of Prague. We try to capture their spirit and enthusiasm, but also get to the truth of how they got to where they are.
We started Henry & Simon because most founder interviews skip the boring, awkward, lucky middle — the part where the thing actually gets built. We're not interested in the highlight reel.
Our guests have opened tea-houses on a romantic whim, become co-founders of US SaaS companies after a Skype call, run café chains while learning photography in their spare time, sewn a new category of underwear with a Czech university, and built virtual worlds with their own currency. They are based in Prague, mostly, but the conversation is in English — and the questions are the same ones we'd ask over a long dinner.
We hand the microphone to people who built something, then let the hour go where it wants to.
